Parent only initial consultation:
In this session you have the opportunity to share your unique knowledge about your child, collaboratively establishing short and long terms goals with your therapist. Funding may be used for this session where appropriate.
Child therapy sessions:
In the play room your child is able to play (work) through anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence and behavioural and social challenges at a pace that is emotionally safe and in a non-judgemental environment.
Our service offers one on one play therapy sessions for children aged 2 to 12 years. Play therapy sessions typically run from 45 to 50 minutes but may be shorter as necessary for your child's unique needs, this will be discussed at the initial consultation
Parent feedback is offered in consultation at 6 week intervals, email correspondence can occur in between. It is important that NO discussion occurs about your child's progress before/after play sessions or in front of the child at any time.
NDIS reports available on request (requirements on this and collaboration with teams of professionals and or school staff to be discussed at initial consultation and parent feedback sessions).
